Invasion.ie to land in Cork Fans of the Force unite! Invasion is entering Earth’s atmosphere again, and this time it will be landing at the Arc Arena in Cork on Saturday this 11 and 12 of September. |

Designed and produced by the Star Wars enthusiasts from Emerald Garrison, Invasion Cork will feature the highest calibre props and backdrops, as well as amazing life-size Star Wars sets. This leading edge sci-fi fan event is a fun outing for all the family, where fans both tall and small can meet their favourite characters and experience the full-size recreations of the movie sets.
Take photos with Darth Vader, R2-D2, the menacing Emperor and Darth Maul. Storm Troopers will also be there to maintain order, so be on the lookout!
If you’re thinking that’s not enough, Invasion Cork is ready to up the ante and give you the chance to meet original actors from your favourite Star Wars episodes. Jeremy Bulloch (Bobba Fett), Kenny Baker (R2-D2), Chris Muncke (Captain Khurgee) and Kenneth Colley (Admiral Piett) are confirmed guests at the event.
Among the items on display, Invasion Cork will also feature the exact full size replica of the All Terrain Scout Transport (AT-ST). The AT-ST is a two-legged walker introduced in The Empire Strikes Back and featured extensively in Return of the Jedi. Fans will also have the opportunity to acquire genuine memorabilia from the movies and the event.
